About Me
I am currently only accepting adult, individual clients in PA, TX, NM, and ND for telehealth only.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience as a therapist working with adult clients with a variety of mental health and life struggles. I am a generalist therapist and my primary specialties are working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, codependency tendencies, grief, women's issues, and life stressors/transitions. I take a practical, direct, and evidenced-based approach and I tend to be a "jump right in" type of therapist. As a social worker, I have a holistic, person-in-environment therapeutic perspective and mostly utilize Solution Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Feminist Therapy methods in my practice.
I see therapy as a collaborative process that can assist clients in defining and reaching their goals. My intake process involves getting information from the client regarding their motivations for seeking therapy and what they are hoping to get out of the process. I also seek to learn as much as I can about my client's situation and other factors that may be part of their support or struggles. I am happy to provide clients with information about my therapeutic approach and answer questions they may have about the treatment process and other areas that may help them determine if I am the right fit for them.
In my off time, I enjoy crochet, reading, and photography. I love being near the water whenever possible and generally find peace in nature.
